There is a small amount of soft tissue density in the medial epitympanum, nonspecific and possibly inflammatory in etiology. The middle ear is otherwise clear. A normal appearing right stapes is not visualized; an area mineralization in the region of the oval window does not demonstrate a normal relation to the oval window. The malleus and incus are intact. The inner ear structures, including the semicircular canals, vestibule, and cochlea are unremarkable.
